Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks provide height and versatility. These models are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is referred to as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the individual using it to raise the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the load away from and towards the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is required.
In situations needing high volume carton handling, hydraulic attachments referred to as forklift carton clamp attachments are better. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift will normally utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed particularly to raise workers. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap which is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
